Is there a Trade Committee in the IBA? Yikes! No trade committee. I've never been in a league with one, but I imagine it would be incredibly hard to separate the conflicts of interest with the members of the committee. I'm generally against it, but open to a discussion.

And why aren't the Blazers on here defending this trade? Or did he use up his once per week log on just to post the deal? Because he shouldn't have to justify a trade that he thinks will help his team?? If he thinks this trade helps his team he should be fired on the spot and replaced with a gm with a fully functioning brain.

But he replies to your trade offers... Involving his 1st round pick...

Jones is putting up 8 ppg and 1 reb less than last year, and as far as my long term goals he didn't fit in to what im looking to do. His 16, 18, and 19 million dollar salary also didn't help his case. Joseph messaged me with interest and i sorted through it like I try to with every other deal.
If you don't like the deal... TOO FUCKING BAD.

Does no one else have a problem with the Jazz having their own D League affiliate in the IBA? The Blazers are one of the worst rebounding teams in the IBA, they get out rebounded by 3 per game. Clifford puts up 1 more rebound a game, and 5 less point while having a higher FG%. Wil Jones is putting up 11.1 and 7.7 rebounds at a position where he has no SG...and 7.7 rebounds out of an SG is going to help a ton. Sasha is putting up 13 ppg and can play the back up PG/SG role very nicely. So now the Blazer have: C-Clifford PF-Issel SF-Lattener SG-Jones PG-Murphy With McCormick and Sasha off the bench...Bobby Jones was only putting up 16.6 ppg and 8.3 rpg while shooting 44% And they got $750 cash OK I lied. I read it. Your reasoning is absolutely ridiculous. So you're trying to tell the whole league that this is a good trade because it slightly improves the team rebounding (which is middle of the pack as is)? Convenient that your "reasoning" completely ignores the fact that Jones is one of the 5 or 10 best defenders in the entire league and the Blazers are one of the 5 worst defensive teams in the league. But this trade doesn't require his justification because it makes him "better". We're not stupid man. So sick of the fucking blatant attempts at cheating that have been pulled out west. Like that shit is even needed to win in that garbage ass conference.

there's no defense for this whatsoever.
I cannot tell you how greatly I absolutely DESPISE trade committees, truly. But this is some pretty fucked up shit. I got Havlicek, a pick and 650 for Rich Kelley. He got far less for Bobby Jones.
It's obvious what this is, and I really don't appreciate this, sforsyth, but in the end there's nothing that can be done. While I never asked about Bobby Jones I did ask about Issel and Murphy, and I even started talks with a general outline of offers. This was EIGHT DAYS AGO. And then you pull this shit.
I can safely say the Jazz* have made a great deal here.

TOO FUCKING BAD. I'm going to attack your statement in parts. 1. "Jones is putting up 8 ppg and 1 reb less than last year"Maybe if you were more active, set a couple of DCs, and experimented with things you'd be able to recoup that production. 2. "...and as far as my long term goals he didn't fit in to what im looking to do. His 16, 18, and 19 million dollar salary also didn't help his case."You mean to tell me that trading 1 of your 2 best players for a bunch of role players is your plan? His salary also comes off the books at the same time as all other 1st round picks. So there are no issues with your long term plans here. You'd be free to sign whoever it is you want when the best players in the league come off their first deals. You also didn't get a good return for Jones either, you could've easily traded him for someone better (perhaps a star) who "fits what you're trying to do" 3. "Joseph messaged me with interest and i sorted through it like I try to with every other deal."BUUUUUUUULLLLSHHIIIIIIIIIIT

Can we come up with penalties for teams that pull this shit? Fines/lost draft picks? NFL style? Slick, thoughts? Of course we punish both teams who collude. would be great to hit smug ass holes like this with a TOO FUCKING BAD.
