Celtics send:
Serge Ibaka $850
Wolves send: MarShon Brooks Khalid Reeves 96 Wolves 1st 96 Knicks 1st
I can't believe there isn't more problems with this. Two shitty SGs and two shitty draft picks for a good young big man and $850??? The Celtics absolutely got raped here.

Just a curiosity question here, Are trades supposed to be processed if the trade leaves one of the teams with less than 12 players? (Only asked because I see the Wolves have a fake player on the roster.)

A couple of things: 1- Some of the cash is for Ibaka's extension, I wasn't making the trade w/o getting some cash towards that. 2- Granted it is early in the season, at the time the picks looked very solid. 3-I forgot to sign someone in FA, my bad. 4-This was only 1 sim, right now the trade looks bad. Who knows what things may look like in a few sims.

Who knows what things may look like in a few sims. And yet, you immediately double camped Ibaka, which would have been the smart thing for the Celtics to have done, and then tried to get $650 somewhere along the way to extend him before the end of the playoffs. Ibaka was the ONLY thing on that team and a solid cornerstone. he moved him WITH ABSURD CASH for two ATROCIOUS picks. The picks themselves were for a team that was barely out of the playoffs in the West where I made the playoffs sub .500% last year, and the improvement to your team alone would've vaulted you, as it already has, to be a playoff team, making that pick 14+ at best. The Knicks pick might've turned into something, but even then when the trade was made he was the 10th worst team. So he moves Ibaka and camping cash for two 10+ picks? No bueno. It's an extremely bad trade. But we've all made bad moves. You don't have to feel bad RR, you should be touting how good your move is! lol I'm with Lynch on this one.

I think the main issue is there didn't seem to be much thought placed into what Ibaka does for the Wolves. You wait 3-4 more sims for this move, maybe you have a better idea of where those picks land and don't do it.

I took a risk before this last sim, where both teams had a good run. I have no pick this year and was desperate to acquire one. And so I opted to go ahead with it and fork over cash, seeing as I'm cash happy at the moment.

I understand that rationale. Shit, I moved Amare thinking David West wasn't TOO big a dropoff and Cousins and Theus +500 was a good haul for him. Now I'm sitting at 6-12 thinking "OH NO WHAT DID I DO!??!" Like I said, none of us here are strangers to some bad moves. Maybe if my pick is bad enough I'll get a boatlaod of cash from you around draft time

A couple of things: 2- Granted it is early in the season, at the time the picks looked very solid. The picks didn't look solid, and I told you as much when I PM'd you my offer for the two picks. I've see smirt work magic before with the Knicks, so I knew their start was an aberration. And with as weak as the West is, I knew anyone who isn't Memphis or myself has a chance at the playoffs. And now especially that you have Ibaka, you're probably as solid as in the playoffs right now in a weak WC.
